Bread of Healing Clinic

We are pleased to introduce you to Bread of Healing Clinic, a Milwaukee-based free medical clinic for individuals with financial or other barriers to quality health care.  Located in three neighborhood churches, the clinics offer medically uninsured access to affordable, quality healthcare that leads to healthier citizens, reduces chronic conditions, lowers healthcare costs and improves overall quality of life for the community it serves.  Their vision focuses on Love, healing, humility, inclusion, social justice, education, prayer and compassion.

Bernie’s Book Bank

Reading is the single most important skill a child needs, yet so many children do not have access to books and struggle with reading.  Bernie’s Book Bank has been providing books to Title 1 schools and early childhood programs in the Greater Milwaukee area with age-appropriate, high-interest, and culturally relevant books since 2019.  A new book bank warehouse is opening in Glendale this spring, to expand the ability to volunteer and increase the number of schools and students that may benefit from this philanthropic personal library of books for students who don’t have access to books in their homes. Literacy sparks the power of imagination.
