Children

Our Vision

At the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay we strive to make each service the best hour of the week for kids!

We love kids! That is why our children’s ministry is dedicated to make each service a time that kids know they are loved and accepted, reflecting the values of our church.

I have questionsMeet Our STAFF

Something for all age groups

Through fun and compelling programming, we accommodate the needs of all kids.  We have programs for kids from infancy through fifth grade.  Check the events calendar for what's coming up.

  • Children's message and Sunday School during the 10:30 service.
  • Special family events and activities
  • Children's choirs and musicals
  • Summer church camp
  • Vacation Bible School

We want to partner with parents!  By partnering together, the church and family form a synergy to raise healthy and positive children. Kids thrive in caring and safe environments.  We have security procedures in a dedicated area of our building.  We complete a background check on our volunteers who are trained in making our church a safe space for children. We provide a staffed nursery and age-appropriate programs for kids six weeks through fifth grade.  Our sanctuary features a lounge with a private nursing area for newborn or restless children.

We encourage faith development through Bible stories, exciting worship, and active service.  The goal is to grow disciples who recognize Jesus Christ as their friend while learning to love God and those around them. Nobody should walk through life alone. We emphasize connection of children and families with one another and the broader church family.  We create community through events, activities, and connection opportunities.
