Our church will be hosting a major immigration event entitled “Immigration MKE: What You Need to Know Right Now” on Thursday, April 16 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
Speakers will include representatives from Milwaukee Turners, Forward Latino and Voces de la Frontera, local elected representatives and the Milwaukee Police Department. The program will run from 6-7:30 pm. There will be refreshments and a local Latino deejay from 5:30-6 pm and a reception after the program with opportunities to get involved. Our speakers are leaders in the immigration movement in Milwaukee and will discuss what we should expect and how we can respond when ICE arrives.
