The United Women in Faith group, Rachel Circle, invites all to attend a presentation on crime prevention. It will be held April 15 at 1pm in the UMCWFB chapel. Patty Vanden Plas is coordinating the presentation, and says it will include an opportunity for questions.
Whitefish Bay Police Department Detective Hryniewicki is the presenter. Topics for discussion will include safety at home and how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud and scams.
“It’s important to realize when something seems off,” says Detective Hryniewicki. “Trust your instincts – if something seems too good to be true, don’t ignore that feeling.”
