Adult Ministries

Everyone can find a group that will help you feel at home and progress in your journey with Christ.  The pandemic severely affected our programs, just like so many others.  Check the events calendar for the latest schedule.




Women's Ministry

Providing women the opportunity to live a transformed life through a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.  We welcome women at every place in life imaginable.  We invite you to experience the love of Christ through fellowship with other women.
  • United Methodist Women meet regularly for fellowship and organize many events throughout the year.
  • Circles are small groups of women who gather regularly for fellowship and study.  We can help you find a group that meets you where you are.
  • Women Offering Worship is a weekly worship service for all to join.

Men's Ministry

Men’s Ministry seeks to share the Spirit of Jesus through fellowship, spirituality and mission.
  • A guy's gotta eat!  Check out the events list for one of our upcoming breakfast meetups.
  • Men always have to fix things.  The Gray Guys work on the church building and parsonages on a regular basis.  Come join us, even if your hair isn't gray, or present!
  • The men build their faith through bible study as well.  The latest schedule is in the events.
  • Join other men of the church at Habitat for Humanity or one of the other mission activities.

Young Professionals Ministry

Come find your people in our Young Professionals group.
  • Gather socially to network with people seeking connection.
  • Engage with missions and other ministries.
  • Join the multi-generational congregation in worship.
  • Continue your journey of faith and service.

Mature Adult Ministry

Programs of fellowship, fun, and learning focus on people in the community over 50
  • The Joy Singers gather to learn all types of songs and give concerts at various local venues.
  • Northshore School for Seniors teaches new skills and interesting topics from history to personal finance.

North Shore School for Seniors

North Shore School for Seniors gears up for fall 2022 session

North Shore School for Seniors (NSS4S) organizers are planning 20-plus exciting classes for the fall 2022 session. Participants can stretch their muscles and minds, while meeting others AND having fun.

Class information and online registration is available on the NSS4S website: nss4s.org.  Fall 2022 brochures also will be available for pick-up at United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay.

The fall session is Sept. 19-Nov. 8, with classes meeting at United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay, 819 E. Silver Spring Dr. “Motion Monday” classes are Tai Chi and Zumba Gold, plus chair yoga on Tuesday. On Tuesday, classes cover a wide range of topics from arts to sports to history.

Classes meet from one to eight times, depending on the subject matter. On Monday, the school is open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and on Tuesdays, the school is open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Fees are $10 per class session. For example, one-week classes are $10 and eight-week classes are $80.
