Matt Annin Horn Recital

The recital focuses on three American women composers who have written beautifully evocative music that Matt is excited to share with you.  Andrea Clearfield's Songs of the Wolf is an intense look at the north through the eye of the wolf.  Margaret Brouwer's Sonata explores such emotions as loss, hope, memories, and understanding.  Stacy Garrop's Slipstream is a new piece that includes the clarinet.  The trio explores the idea of biking and racing, which Milwaukee knows something about.  All three of these works are uniquely different from each other and show off why classical music can be so important to the fabric of our lives.  This recital will last one hour.  We hope you can attend!
