  6th GRADE

10:00-11:30am
Room 210

In Sunday School, 6th Grade Youth are spending time going through the Bible! It's a year-long review as youth prepare for Confirmation as 7th and 8th Graders.  Sunday school will start back up again on Sunday, September 7th!

Acolytes Christ is the light of the world!  We represent this light by lighting candles during worship.  Acolytes carry this light into worship as well as carry it out into the world at the close of the service.  6th Graders get the opportunity to serve as acolytes at 10:30 worship.

We will have an Acolyte training meeting at 12:00pm on Sunday, September 14th!  If you will be in 6th grade this year, please plan on attending!

  CONFIRMATION

    10:30am, May 17, 2009

Confirmation is an optional two-year program to prepare youth for becoming members of our Congregation.  It is one step in a life-long journey of following Christ!

Confirmation classes will start back up on September 7th, 2008.  This will be an orientation, so students AND parents are expected to be there!

  7th GRADE

    10:00-11:30am
    Room 208/221

This year, the 7th Grade Class is going back to the basics.  Who is God?  Who is Jesus?  Who is the Holy Spirit?  We will look at these questions through exploring the scriptures, hearing from guest speakers, worshiping together, going on retreats, and so much more.

The 7th grade teachers are John Potter, Renee Ferrara, Tracy Ebert, Debbie Siebert, Dave Hokeness, and Susan Abram

Contact Mel if you are going to be in 7th grade in the fall 2008 and would like to enroll in Confirmation!

  8th GRADE

    10:00-11:30am
    Room 222

The 8th Grade Class looks at what it means to be a member of our congregation and to be part of the greater church family.  At the end of their 8th Grade year, youth are expected to write a faith statement that proclaims what they believe.

Contact any of the 8th Grade teachers for more information:  Ross Bjella, Angela Crise, Jim Grzybowski, Nell Nash, Mary Paull, Chrlie Powell, and Kathy Widdifield
