As people mature and enter what many consider “the prime time of life,” they face new challenges and have changing interests and needs. While their service to the church in all areas continues to be valuable and welcome, they also find there is now more time in their lives for recreational activities. So the “Prime Timers Council” plans monthly opportunities for fellowship, as well as occasional trips for those who still wish to travel.  

Monthly luncheons are offered in Fellowship Hall from September through May, usually on the third Tuesday. Cost is $9.00 per person. Entertainment follows, usually in the sanctuary.  Please sign-up in advance at the church office. All are welcome!

Winter/Spring Season 2009-10

 May 18 – Whitefish Bay High School Choirs will be with us for their annual program. Note: This is a 12 noon program and 1 pm luncheon.

Watch for information about possible spring and summer day trips.

New in 2010: If you are having lunch, you must sign-up in advance at the church office no later than the Sunday before the program.

Montreal/Quebec City Trip

Prime Timers invites anyone to come along on a fabulous "Diamond Tours" trip to Canada, from Oct 3-9, 2010. Among the trip highlights: guided tours of both cities; Montmorency Falls; the Olympic Park Biodome; St. Anne de Beaupre Shrine; and Montreal's Notre Dame Basilica. Pick up a flyer in the Jones Narthex to see the full itinerary. Cost is just $689 double occupancy (a few meals and tips are extra). 

Sign-up in the church office no later than May 26; a $75 deposit is due when you sign up, full payment by July 30. We must have at least 30 people for the trip to be a "go" so we're also opening up the trip to Community UMC in Elm Grove. If we don't get enough people, you will get a full refund.
